Laying the Groundwork for Change

At Na Malkia, we believe that real change happens when communities come together. Our impact is built on collaboration, advocacy, and direct action.

Mazingira Day 2025

On Mazingira Day 2025, held on 10th October at City Primary School, Na Malkia Foundation brought together students, volunteers, and partners for a vibrant day of environmental action and learning. Together, we planted over 300 trees, conducted a school clean-up, and hosted interactive workshops led by Leinad Enterprises and Africa Collect Textiles, focusing on recycling, sustainability, and creative waste management. The energy and enthusiasm of the students inspired everyone present, showing that true change begins with small, collective actions.

Juvenile Art Therapy

Through guided art sessions, mentorship, career conversations, and moments of reflection, youth in juvenile centres can discover new possibilities, express themselves, and find hope. Art Therapy for Juveniles provides a creative and inspiring space for this journey.

School Feeding Program

Our School Feeding Program ensures that children receive at least one nutritious meal a day, helping them stay in school, focus better, and dream bigger.

Just 5 KSh feeds a child for a day, 100 KSh for a month, 300 KSh for a term, and 1000 KSh for an entire school year.

Street Kids Deserve More Than Scraps Initiative

An Uji Initiative. Through this initiative, we are expanding our Feeding Program to provide consistent, nutritious meals, ensuring that street-connected children no longer have to scavenge for food.

Environmental awareness and waste management education

Through community cleanup drives, we not only restore public spaces but also instill a sense of pride and collective action, fostering a cleaner and healthier environment for all.

How We Work

At Na Malkia, we believe that real change happens when communities come together. Our impact is built on collaboration, advocacy, and direct action.

Working with Local Communities

We engage directly with families, educators, and grassroots leaders to understand the challenges street children and vulnerable women face. By listening to their needs, we create sustainable solutions that truly make a difference.

Advocating for Policy Change

We work alongside government bodies and policymakers to push for stronger protections for street children, access to education, and better support systems for vulnerable women. Legal aid and policy advocacy are crucial in ensuring that no child is left behind.

Partnering for Greater Impact

Through collaborations with organizations, businesses, and volunteers, we expand our outreach, increase access to essential resources, and build a network of support that transforms lives.
